Numerical Optimization Engineer

LocalSolver is a software company in the field of optimization and decision support. Launched on the market in 2012, the company comes from Bouygues e-lab, the Operations Research department of Bouygues Group created in 1994. The team is developing LocalSolver, an innovative mathematical optimization solver. In addition, she develops tailor-made optimization solutions with beautiful interfaces for various business areas. In strong growth and profitable, the company counts among its clients the largest French and foreign companies.


You are responsible for developing numerical optimization algorithms inside LocalSolver that meet the expectations of our clients, particularly in terms of performance. Supervised by a senior of the team, you dialogue in a professional and constructive way with all the members of team as well as with our clients. You guarantee the total quality of your development through continuous integration and benchmarking tools, and in strict compliance with the deadlines. With just as much rigor and tact, you ensure maintenance and support services, and possibly training sessions, to our clients. You also help strengthen our continuous integration and benchmarking infrastructure.

Salary & working conditions

Full-time permanent contract to provide immediately. Fixed compensation according to profile and experience + bonuses according to the performance of the company and the collaborator + various benefits (mutual insurance, lunch, transport, ...). The bonuses can represent a complement of several months of salary. You will work within the LocalSolver team based at 36 avenue Hoche 75008 Paris. You will be brought to move in France and abroad, especially to attend to scientific conferences.
