COMSOL France is looking for a physicist, numerician or mathematician applied with numerical simulation skills for the thermal industry to join the Grenoble-based development team. COMSOL is the publisher of COMSOL Multiphysics and COMSOL Server, modeling tools and numerical simulation used in multiple scientific and technical contexts. COMSOL Multiphysics contains a specialized heat transfer module for advanced modeling of phenomena such as conduction, convection, radiation or phase change.

Master or PhD equivalent in numerical computation, simulation and modeling. Mastery of the finite element method.
Significant experience in numerical simulation.
In-depth knowledge of theoretical thermal and applications.
Written and oral English essential in the context of an international society.
Autonomy, scientific curiosity, fast learning faculty.
The ability to work in a team.
Prior knowledge of COMSOL Multiphysics is appreciated.


Implementation of features in JAVA or other language.
Maintain and improve existing features.
Validation, implementation of tests.
Writing technical specifications for new features for COMSOL Multiphysics.
Writing of the associated documentation.
Creation of examples representing industrially and physically relevant applications.
Support internally or to users.
Presentations and demonstrations of the product.
Occasional trips to France, Europe and the world.
