Software Development Engineer

We are expanding our team and wish to add talented software development engineers to our team focused on Analog & RF circuit simulation: Spice (Eldo), FasterSpice (Eldo Premier) and RF (Eldo RF), AFS. Successful candidates will contribute to the architecture, design, implementation and verification of products in a team whose work is focused on developing new functionalities and performance; this includes drafting technical specifications, design documents, algorithm development and test plans.
Positions based in Grenoble (France) in a very dynamic area, particularly for the semiconductor industry, with many public research organizations, universities and engineering schools and a rich EDA ecosystem.
Job Qualifications:
Engineer / Master 2 or PhD in Computer Science or Applied Mathematics with a focus on differential equations, linear systems, mathematical modeling and/or numerical methods.
Candidates must have a proven interest in developing expertise in algorithms used in circuit simulation and an understanding of integrated circuits; they will have a rigorous and disciplined approach to software development but will also be autonomous, creative and quick to react. Strong communication skills and the desire to collaborate in a team environment will also contribute to your success in this role.
- Fluency in English is required due to the global spread of our R & D teams.
- Algorithm development & Parallel Programming experience required.
- Solid experience in C / C ++ and Linux required.
In addition the following would be an advantage: analog circuit design expertise, knowledge of analog circuit simulation algorithms or development experience with Spice simulators.
